Service standards
What you can expect from us, in writing. These standards apply to every claimed and Featured firm in the directory.
Homeowner estimate referrals are routed by project fit first. Featured firms receive the paid first-access tier when they fit. Standard and unclaimed firms may receive a limited evaluation referral, while completed Standard profiles are used only for occasional overflow. See the methodology for the full rules.
Corrections to firm details (phone, email, website, address, services) are actioned within five business days of receipt, whether the profile is claimed or not. Free of charge.
Any firm can request removal from the directory by email. Removals are completed within 48 hours and stay permanent unless the firm later asks to be re-listed.
Featured subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. The subscription stops at the end of the current monthly billing cycle. No retention calls, no friction.
If you cancel or leave, the leads we previously routed to you are yours to keep, they were always delivered directly to your inbox. We do not retain or re-sell your historical lead data to anyone.
Email inquiries about your profile, billing, or the directory receive a response within five business days. Most are answered the same business day. The directory is operated by one person, named on the About page; you are not routed through a call centre.

How did my firm get listed?
Public sources: state licensing databases and public business records. All information is publicly available. Claiming your profile lets you correct anything that’s inaccurate and take control of what property owners see.
What is a homeowner estimate referral?
A homeowner submits an estimate request. When Find Land Surveyor identifies your firm as a fit, we send those project and contact details to your firm as a homeowner estimate referral. Direct estimate inquiries from your own profile are separate and unlimited on Standard and Featured.
I get most of my work through referrals.
So do most firms. But referrals don’t grow. The homeowners who don’t already know a surveyor, the ones refinancing, buying land, building a fence for the first time, they’re searching online. A Featured profile puts you in front of that audience without changing anything about how you run your business. It’s not a replacement for referrals. It’s the channel you’re missing.
Can I update or remove my listing?
Claiming your profile gives you full control. If you’d rather not be listed at all, email us and we’ll remove it within 48 hours.
